Happy Holidays!

Now, F**K OFF, 2020!

It's been a long year, folks. I've joked in the past about certain years being best forgotten, but 2020 is unique in that it featured so many tragic events: a deadly, crippling pandemic; disastrous economic hardships; and an election cycle that nearly tore apart our country, just to name a few.

Now, here we are, 11+ months into this hot mess of a year and things are still dire. COVID-19 has us living under restrictions on our way of life that most of us couldn't have imagined prior to 2020. We're tragically still losing friends and loved ones to this dread plague. Millions of jobs and businesses are teetering on the brink of extinction. It just seems overwhelming.

But things are looking up. Highly-effective vaccines are being distributed as I type this. Congress is getting off their partisan butts and finalizing a relief bill that will be a life line to so many in need. And the holiday season is here: Hanukkah Sameach to those already celebrating!

So, there's that!

In spite of 2020 being such a sh*tshow, 2021 has the potential to be a kick-ass year. But it's up to all of us. Stay safe: mask up (if not for you, for THEM), socially distance, and get vaccinated when you can.

And for those looking for that PERFECT gift this holiday season, might I suggest some carryout beer, cider, or mead from one of the multitude of exceptional Michigan breweries? Nothing says "I love you" like a bottle, can, or growler of quality, local suds! Or how about a mug club membership or a brewery gift certificate for that craft beer lover? Maybe a t-shirt or ball cap from his/her favorite beer, mead, or cider maker? Show your best friend AND your favorite brewery just how much you love them this year!

So, to you and yours, have a very happy holiday and we'll see you out there on a tour in 2021!
